Lucas Metal Works, Inc. and its’ brand of arena tools and watering systems, The Ground Hog Arena Tool and the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA), which is the governing body of college rodeo in the United States. Reached an agreement back in the month of March this year (2012) for The Ground Hog Arena Tool to become the official arena tool for the NIRA’s national championships, the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) for the 2012 installment of the event. The event crowns national champions for individual and team rodeo events for college rodeo teams and college rodeo participants from colleges of all sizes across the country.
The company is proud to announce that The Ground Hog Arena Tool was shipped on schedule to the location for the CNFR at the Casper Events Center in Casper, Wyoming last month (May 2012). The Ground Hog Arena Tool has been grooming the Casper Events Center’s dirt to perfection to in preparation for the seven day event.
The company and the NIRA will provide updates about the event through the company’s and the NIRA’s website, blog, and social media pages. Including Twitter and Facebook posts about daily results and happenings at the event.
Highlights from the seven day event will be aired nationally in August on the worldwide leader in sports, ESPN, on their channel dedicated to college sports, ESPNU. The company will provide air dates when they come available.
